Dr. White is a reproductive psychiatrist and is board-certified in general psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She trained at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she served as chief resident and completed the women’s mental health track.

After completing her training and before starting her own practice, she started a women’s mental health practice at the UT Southwestern Faculty clinic, where she specialized in and trained psychiatric residents in peripartum mood and anxiety disorders as well as other hormonally-mediated women’s issues.

She then opened her own private practice with a focus on helping women with mental health issues during the peripartum season of life. Dr. White believes in providing individualized and collaborative care. She is trained in both psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management and creates a tailored treatment plan for each of her patients.

She has been recognized five years in a row by her peers in the TEXAS MONTHLY list of Super Doctors® Rising Stars℠ and has been a D Magazine Best Psychiatrist in Dallas for the past two years.

Insurance

Dr. White does not currently accept any insurance and would be considered an “out-of-network provider” for all insurance companies.

If you choose to submit claims for reimbursement, Dr. White will provide you with the needed documentation of services provided. Please note that Medicare beneficiaries are not permitted to submit claims for out-of-network providers.
